Our History
George Black Textile Group was established in 1959, at a time when Australia's textile manufacturing industry was expanding rapidly and local mills needed reliable access to world-class machinery and materials. From our base in Victoria, we built our reputation as a trusted agency connecting Australian manufacturers with leading international suppliers.
For more than six decades we have specialised in the supply of textile machinery — representing leading international manufacturers of circular knitting, yarn twisting, printing, coating, laminating, cutting and finishing equipment. Alongside machinery, we supply genuine spare parts, provide qualified engineering service, and source yarns, fibers and technical fabrics including glass, carbon and scrim materials.
