George Black Textile Group ( GBTG ) was established in 1959 and has been operating as an agency for yarn, technical fabrics and machinery. In 2005 the group was restructured and the remaining directors formed three companies.

Primary business activities

• The purchase and sale of textile fibres, yarns, and fabrics for use within the apparel, homewares and upholstery industries.
• The purchase and sale of glass and high performance scrims for various industrial applications.
• The purchase and sale of glass, carbon and other high performance fabrics.
• The purchase and sale of new and used textile machinery and textile auxiliary equipment.
• Operation of a machinery spare parts and service department.
